Youth Afloat is a Midlands-based Charity which through its centres provides outdoor activities for young people

Youth Afloat is part of the Johnnie Johnson Adventure Trust, which was formed in 1972 to teach water sports to disadvantaged youngsters aged between 6 and 18.

It is a Midlands-based Charity, which through its centres provides outdoor activities for young people, so that they may channel their energies into constructive and challenging pastimes.

No youngster is excluded because of his or her race, religion, colour or creed. Youth Afloat subsidises these activities, but asks for small contributions to help fund the running costs of its centres. The Trust relies heavily on donations and the dedication of its voluntary helpers. If you feel that you could help either by making a financial donation or giving us some of your time, please contact our Redditch Centre.

Activities include: Sailing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Windsurfing, Improvised Raft Building, Bellboating, Orienteering, Archery and Mountain Biking.
